Welcome to Carve Wood on Roblox. This guide walks you through your first ten minutes in the lumber yard — the tutorial, your first axe, your first worker, and the order in which to spend the cash you earn. Skip the filler and follow the steps below.

1. Finish the tutorial

The tutorial lasts roughly two minutes. Do not skip any of the prompts — they teach the chop → carve → sell loop, which is the entire game. 2. Sell your starter axe

Your starter axe is the Common Twig Splitter. It is cosmetic-only — it does not earn its slot. Sell it from your inventory the moment the tutorial ends. The cash goes straight into your wallet.

3. Buy the Common Oak Hatchet

Use the cash from the Twig Splitter sale plus your tutorial payout to buy the Common Oak Hatchet. The Oak Hatchet is the first real axe in Carve Wood on Roblox — chop speed is double the starter and the yield is 1.4x. 4. Chop your first ten trees

Walk to the tree line and chop ten trees in a row. Each chop drops a log; each log can be carried to the customer stall and sold for cash. After ten trees you should have enough cash to consider your next move. Do not over-grind — the first ten trees are for muscle memory, not for profit.

5. Hire your first worker

Open the worker roster from the lumber yard menu. Hire the Apprentice Logger first — it is the cheapest worker and starts chopping on its own within seconds. The full worker roster and the order to unlock them lives on the How to hire workers page.

6. Upgrade the Oak Hatchet once

Once your Apprentice Logger is chopping, you can safely upgrade your Oak Hatchet to level 2. The upgrade doubles the chop speed for a few hundred cash. This is the first profitable cycle in Carve Wood: worker + axe upgrade compounds.

7. Check the codes one more time
